Too much sugar in fruit?


Just eat the damn fruit đŸ‰đŸŒđŸ’đŸ« people!!


I base all of my content on questions I get asked frequently. It honestly blows my mind that this is one of them.


Fruit is a great source of fast energy and a variety of nutrients that are essential to a well functioning body and immune system.


If you’re on a diet that doesn’t allow for fruit or your concept of “healthy” questions the healthfulness of fruit
it’s time to reevaluate where you’re getting your information.


Different fruit and different sizes or quantities will indeed have varying amount of carbohydrate aka sugar. These are natural sources of sugar and not to be confused with the fear mongering around added sugars in processed foods
that’s another conversation for another day.


What you should know about fruit:

🍌It’s a great option for pre-workout fuel

đŸ«It’s a good choice for fuel during longer workouts

đŸ„­It can be used as a carb-source for refueling after training

🍇It can be enjoyed with meals or as a snack paired with a protein or healthy fat

🍐Aim for a rainbow of color from fruits and veggies through the week to benefit from an array of vitamins and minerals
